🤝Self-Roles

The Self Roles System lets members assign or remove optional roles (interests, pings, identity tags, etc.) through an interactive panel—no manual admin work required.

Step 1: Place the Panel for Users to Claim

/self-roles panel

• Choose the channel to post the panel in.

• Bot creates a panel with buttons: Get Roles, Remove Roles, View Roles Info

Users interact only through the panel:

• Get Roles – Claim any roles they don’t already have

• Remove Roles – Unclaim previously obtained self roles

• View Roles Info – See the list of available roles + descriptions

Adding, Removing, Viewing added roles

/self-roles add

• Pick a role (must be below the bot’s highest role)

• Add a short description

• Limit: up to 5 roles

/self-roles remove

• Select the role from auto-complete

• Removes it from the self-role list immediately

/self-roles view

• Shows all currently added self roles
